PTC Applauds Rosenworcel’s Renomination to the FCC

LOS ANGELES (January 5, 2017) – The Parents Television Council reacted to the news that Jessica Rosenworcel has been renominated to the Federal Communications Commission.

“We applaud the renomination of Jessica Rosenworcel to the FCC. During her years of service at the Commission and on Capitol Hill, Jessica has demonstrated herself to be a champion for children and families across the nation. She is profoundly qualified to serve another term, and we hope the Senate will give her full and fair consideration,” PTC President Tim Winter said.

The Parents Television Council® ( is a non-partisan education organization advocating responsible entertainment. It was founded in 1995 to ensure that children are not constantly assaulted by sex, violence and profanity on television and in other media.
